Methodology

From your data to a war-room
you can walk in with.

Where your data goes, how the agents are trained, where public numbers come from, and what you get back. Five sections, one flow.

01 · Your data

Your data stays where you put it.

When you upload your master file, the data lives in your isolated tenant. Agents read it. Nothing moves out. Nothing is shared cross-tenant. For enterprise customers requiring it, the tenant runs on a customer-keyed dedicated environment.

YOUR ERP SAP / Oracle / D365 supplier_id · ref volume · price contract clauses YOUR ISOLATED TENANT ENCRYPTED AT REST · KMS KEYS YOU CONTROL master file contract cross-tenant: NEVER 15 AGENTS read-only on your data N C K R + read · reason · render upload read write artefacts ↓ only the war-room artefact leaves, when YOU export it
Your master file. Your tenant. Your keys. Outbound is what you choose to export.

The privacy posture, in plain words

02 · The agents

The agents are trained before they meet you.

Each of the 15 specialist agents starts from a corpus of recognised academic, practitioner, and trade sources. Then they sharpen with use — on your training answers, on your team's corrections, on your corporate context.

Academic sources Harvard · Stanford · INSEAD MIT Sloan procurement research Practitioner sources Fisher & Ury · Schranner Karrass · CIPS · ISM Trade publications Spend Matters · Procurement Leaders vetted practitioner blogs 15 AGENTS corpus baseline N · C · K · R · M · ... Buyer training daily questions, answered distilled into best-practices Corporate context your category playbooks your supplier history Output to user cheatsheet, draft response chess plan, next move trained back
The agents start informed. Then you train them. They get sharper with use, not duller.

How the buyer-side training loop works

Every day, three agents publish a concrete question on the user's CV page. The user answers in one to three sentences. The evening reinforcement task distils each answer into a one-line principle, appends it to that agent's best-practices.md, and surfaces it on the public agent CV. Repeat daily. After a quarter, every agent has a living, dated knowledge base built by the buyer who actually uses them.

03 · Public sources

Every public number comes from a public source.

For external references — price indices, FX, freight, energy, labour cost, sustainability — AkunAI pulls from named, dated, citable sources. Some are public, some are partner-restricted. Every figure on every output is tagged so you can defend it to a CFO.

Energy & feedstock PUBLIC

EIA Brent · ICE Brent · Eurostat HICP energy · ICIS resin (partner) · gas / electricity TSO data.

Labour cost PUBLIC

Eurostat Labour Cost Index · OECD Productivity · national stat-office wage series.

FX & finance PUBLIC

ECB FX reference · Fed H.10 · LIBOR / SOFR / ESTR daily fixings.

Sustainability PUBLIC

EU ETS allowance auctions · CBAM quarterly publications · CDP scoring.

Trade flows PUBLIC

Eurostat Comext · US Census USA Trade Online · OECD International Trade.

Petrochemicals & metals

Tecnon OrbiChem · Argus · Platts · Fastmarkets — when your tier covers them, clearly marked.

Supplier discovery PUBLIC

Your panel first. Then verified scrapes (e.g. IATF Oasis registry — honest empty-state until per-CB scraper lands). Apollo / LinkedIn for stakeholder mapping.

Provenance tagging

Every figure on every output: actual · index · industry-prior · unknown. A buyer who quotes a hallucinated number to a CFO loses the meeting. AkunAI never lets that happen.

04 · The output

The war-room. Walk in with it.

The output is a war-room with eleven tabs covering every angle of a senior buyer's pre-meeting prep. Below is the layout from our most-developed demo case (Asiatech Molding, plastic injection, Tier-1 automotive). Same template lands for every case in the demo flow and for any case you build in /build.

The eleven tabs, walked through

Cost & Index
Defensible-increase calc per cost-bucket (resin, energy, labour, freight, FX). Every line tagged with provenance.
Retro pricing
Backward-looking re-pricing the supplier owes you — productivity glide-paths missed, retro-credits, indexation under-passes.
Contract
Clause-by-clause read of the master agreement. Breaches flagged. Renewal-window proximity. Force-majeure misuse.
Benchmarks
Cross-supplier comparison inside your own master file. Spend share, concentration band, top-5 alternates per category.
Sanity checks
Spec-grounded should-price (PFMEA / PPAP / drawing-derived tolerance map). Auto-fired anomaly flags.
Power map
Apollo people-graph: Decision Maker, Economic Buyer, Influencers, Coach, Blockers. Warm-intro paths if you have any.
Risks & walk-away
Single-source risk, financial-distress signals, switching cost, your walk-away threshold — declared before move 1.
Concession levers
Six concrete trade-offs ranked by trade-value: volume re-commit, payment terms, multi-year extension, bundle, exit, audit.
RFI ready
Auto-launchable pack to 3–5 alternates with email already drafted in your tone, signed by you.
Chess plan
Three plies ahead: your move 1, three likely supplier responses, your counter to each, projected end-state.
🌱 Sustainability
CBAM-priced landed cost, recycled-content lever, ESG audit trail. The 2026 conversation a buyer can no longer dodge.
